Wretched Hive of Scum and Villany

Arriving at the Perimiter Stargate to Jita, at 03:00
.2 ships on scan, None Hostile.
.Requesting Warp permission, warp gate activates.

Upon Jumping into Jita, sensor data floods in.

.675 people in Local Channel
.22 Pod Piloted ships surrounding the Warp Gate.
.5 Pilots are flagged as a potential security risk, having negative security status' assigned by Concord.

Local Channel Floods in with Chatter about Contracts on the market. half of which seem to be scams of one kind or another.

To all those new to trade hubs, If it's being advertised in local, it's either not the best deal or an outright Scam

Opening my AURA link to the local station markets to quickly ascertain which the Station processes the most sales traffic. I command my little Ibis to enter warp and request docking clearance immediately upon exiting the warp tunnel.

The station appears quickly in view and slows. Sensors picking up dozens of pod pilots amassed around the docking bay, again flagging a dozen security risks.

.Docking permission granted by Docking Manager Scotty.

First thing out of the pod is a Shower, it's good to get the pod goo off your skin.
Once clean, I Head to the temporary office provided by the station. A few hours going over market logs to select some choice investments for quick re-sale.

Orders Placed I head out to see what there is to see in the trade hub of Jita System.

The Shops and Attractions lining the station concourse levels are a wonder to behold, but nothing new or exciting that I have not seen in various Gallente stations. I must say I do like the blue lighting and minimalist color schemes of Caldari stations.

Being Gallente in wartime in Caldari High Security space is dangerous, however my Title as CEO of a Capsuler Corporation does earn diplomatic respect, but I can feel the distrust all around me.

My Comm link Notifies me an order for 3 Sigil's has been fulfilled, I decide to head back to my Hangar to Put them up for sale, and Turn in.

Restless Activities

The last few months I have been Ice Mining heavily.

Blue Ice in Sinq Laison was up to 150k isk/unit from about 90k isk/unit.
But Macros have moved back in and the Price has Dropped again.

I had a Corp mate Bring out her Orca for me to Strip mine a belt in High Sec.

But that hasn't held my Interest at this time.

Yrielle Vandis was mentioning that he has successfully doubled his money on market trading within 2 weeks.

I've never been to Jita.
So I'm off to Jita to try my hand at making some money on the markets there.
Taking a throw away Ibis, a fresh jump clone and a case of Quafe Ultra, and my wallet.

Licence Renewed

Well, I Braved the Lines to get my Licence renewed. Dealing with People in the Flesh sometimes irritates me, but without doing it, I wouldn't be able to get in my pod again.

That finished with I Headed out to Scan Down something to keep those skills active.
Discovered 2 hidden Asteroid Belts.
The First one was identified by my Core Scanner Probes as a small Kernite & Omber deposit. I warpped over to it, but it was stripped out completely.
So I headed over to the 2nd one.
A Large Omber Deposit in a Twisted Rock Formation.

This is one of the Greatest Thrills I have with Scanning, is the Wonderous Vistas!

Only had time to mine & haul one of the two asteroids there before having to dock up for a prior engagement planet side.

Till Next time.

Grounded

We pod pilots feel immortal out there in the void of New Eden. But we are still at the Mercy of Concord's Pilot License Renewals.
I have been so busy with my Corporation Paperwork that I missed my License Renewal Date.
Now unable to log in to my Pod Interface I am Left to Create this Log of my Thoughts.

Roc Wieler encouraged me to join the community a few months ago so I decided finally to jump in.

More musings to follow,
